Staff

CETENA has a staff of about 75 people. Many have a technical / scientific background in naval architecture, marine engineering and ship design, but we also have mechanical and electrical engineers, physicists, mathematicians, plus a group of experienced technicians for sea trials and workshop testing.

CETENA is organised in seven technical departments:

Hydrodynamics
Structures and Materials
Sea Trials
Vulnerability and Signatures
Virtual Reality and Simulation
Ergonomics and Human Factors
Logistic Support and Process Simulation

Plus a group of people dedicated to the preparation and monitoring of research programs.
