Ship monitoring
Operating ships in a safe, reliable, economic way is a challange and requires skills and any help technology can offer. Today, amongst the different tools a ship can be provided with, a ship monitoring system is an effective support to safe navigation and cost control.
In the past few years, CETENA has devoted much effort to the development of monitoring systems able to evaluate the ship behaviour and environmental conditions to provide the ship master and crew with a real time picture of the condition of ship structures, the level of comfort on board, the status of ship plants and the propulsive efficiency. After much design work and software development, many experimental campaigns and a considerable amount of validation on board ships, CETENA's monitoring systems are avaliable today in different configurations to meet shipowners and ship operators needs:
- SHAMAN - monitoring of ship structures and comfort levels
- MINOSSE - monitoring of propulsive efficiency
- ARGO - monitoring of ship plants for on condition maintenance
- SNS - predictive monitoring for safe navigation
