Transfer of Technology

A Transfer of Technology is the complex process of transfer of know how and best practices which is necessary to make a process/product/industrial system work in a new economic/industrial environment. The Transfer can address both the hardware of industrial technologies (plants, materials) and the soft components (know-how, organisation and human resources models).

CETENA, who has always been active with technical training and dissemination, has recently formed an experience with the planning, performance and coordination of Transfer of Technology programs and offers a complete support through:

• Assessment of training needs and definition of ToT objectives
• Design and implementation of training systems and programs
• Preparation of support documentation
• Training courses
• Training of trainers

As an important achievement and reference, CETENA has recently completed a large ToT program on behalf of FINCANTIERI for one of their customers. The program has been addressed to a large group of qualified naval architects and engineers from a Turkish shipyard and has been organised in different phases, including transfer of technical know how and best practices, visits to shipbuilding facilities, on-the-job training.
