Vibrations

Tests are carried out using CETENA's vibration table and allow:

• evaluation of machinery resonant frequencies
• evaluation of the properties of resilient mountings
• test of the behaviour of a machinery subject to forced vibrations
• fatigue tests
• simulation of on-board vibrations

Tests are carried out according to the following regulations:

• MIL-STD-167-1, Mechanical Vibrations of Shipboard Equipment
• NAV-30-A002, "Norme per l'esecuzione di prove di vibrazioni meccaniche ambientali su macchinari e apparecchiature di bordo"
• IEC 60068-2-6
• DNV
