In the CETENA Head Office, a workshop is dedicated to certifying accelerometer service of calibration and amplifiers. Accelerometer chains are available.

Certification has been provided by ACCREDIA.



ACCREDIA is the sole national accreditation body recognised by Italy as of July 1, 2011 which was born from the merger of SINAL and SINCERT as a non-profit association. CETENA Laboratory Calibration is accredited to perform audits of vibration calibrations according to the international standard ISO 16063-21 and ISO 17025.

The correct calibration of the measuring machine is a guarantee of:

• Traceability of measurements to national standards

• Assessment of measurement uncertainty

• Repeatability and reproducibility of results

• Measurements made in accordance with the technical documentation: www.sit-italia.it.

The Calibration System is called "VIBRACAL" Bruel Kjaer 3629. The Vibration Transducer Calibration System Type 3629 has been designed for highly accurate calibration of accelerometers and velocity pick-ups. The system is automated and uses Vibration Transducer Calibration Software 5308 to control the calibration procedure with a minimum of manual operation. Calibrations performed with Type 3629 conform to ISO 16063-21 and ISO 17025 (this replaces ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994, ISO-10012-1 and ISO/IEC Guide 25 (formerly MILSTD- 45662 - Calibration System Requirements)
